Condoms & Pamphlets
Every year, the AIDS Committee distributed thousands of pamphlets and brochures in the local community. The agency also now distributes female condoms. Nonetheless, the agency still distributed a significant amount of material through workshops, targeted campaigns and directly from the office.

Education
Presentations are available to interested groups about HIV/AIDS transmission, prevention and testing information, safer sex, harm reduction and related issues. .

Consultations
The AIDS Committee provides individual consultations to any small group that wants to learn better how to address HIV issues within their organization. Most often, these are meetings to address service providers knowledge levels and/or meant to increase accessibility to or inclusivity of services to people with or affected by HIV.

Train the Trainer
The AIDS Committee of North Bay and Area offers workshops to provide local service providers with up-to-date information regarding HIV and related issues. The response from the service provider community is very positive with participants indicating an increased knowledge about the challenges facing people with HIV. The workshops result in a significant amount of inter-agency co-operation in efforts to ensure that HIV issues for clients and staff are addressed appropriately by local service providers.
